Works are continuing to progress across Glen Iris, with construction now underway on Stage 7 within the northern precinct. This next stage of 34 lots sits north of the Perennial Release, which is due to reach completion next week. The Stage 7 works will be managed to minimise impacts on residents, with a particular focus on dust suppression. A water cart will remain on site to help minimise dust throughout the works.
At the same time, works have commenced on Stage S2, a smaller release of 10 lots fronting The Fairway, an existing street located south of Berrigan Drive. These works require the removal of the existing road pavement and excavation to allow for the installation of essential underground services. During this period, The Fairway will operate under managed one-way traffic conditions, supported by temporary signage and on-site traffic controllers. Residents have been notified directly and we are deeply grateful for the community’s patience and cooperation as these important upgrades are delivered.
Importantly, once works are complete, The Fairway will be fully resurfaced, and any residential landscaping or paving affected within the verge will be carefully reinstated. Completion of these works is anticipated in early April.
